We went on a vacation the last few days of Dec. 2009. Thank you Julie for accompanying us and leaving a huge impression.
Love and Logic Day 1- The children were complying and happy to not be yelled at or spanked. Mom had A LOT more energy at the end of the day.
Love and Logic Day 2- Each child responds differently. The youngest is the easiest. The middle caught on very quickly. The oldest has tested it today and is very upset about the fact that he cannot control me through his emotional "hooks".
Definitely a different feeling in the house... getting quite a bit of energy back from kids doing chores. The house is looking cleaner, quicker and siblings are figuring out that mom is not going to deal with their incompatible play. Instead they are working things out between one another to avoid spending some thinking time in their rooms.

it's hard at first, especially when the kids act worse because mommy is acting different....but it gets easier. best wishes... call any time if you have a question.
p.s. justin only yelled at me twice today (and dallin's high chair and my counter is clean as a result. ;) hooray! and now he's acting MUCH nicer. thank goodness.
